Update: SEIU Local 1000 finalizes president vote

On Friday afternoon June 18, SEIU Local 1000 emailed its 96,000 state employee members the below update regarding official protests lodged as a result of recently concluded leadership elections. The vice presidential race will be redone, but all protests received involving in-coming President Richard Louis Brown were rejected.

Brown will be sworn in for his three-year term on Sunday, June 27.
